Privacy & data protection

Your information.
Handled with care.

How Altoro plans to handle website enquiries and protect the information you share.

Pre-launch draft. This notice must be finalised against the verified company identity, address, processing arrangements and Tanzanian regulatory requirements before the enquiry form is activated. It is not a statement that registration or transfer permission has been obtained.

1. Who is responsible

This website is being prepared for Altoro Mining Group, a company established in Tanzania. The exact registered company name, registered address and designated data-protection contact will be added after verification.

For privacy enquiries, contact info@altoromining.com.

2. Information and purposes

The planned enquiry form requests your email address and message. Your name and company are optional. We intend to use this information to respond to your request and discuss the commercial or project matter you raise. Submitting an enquiry will not subscribe you to marketing.

Hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser details and security signals to deliver and protect the website. The lawful grounds for each processing activity will be documented and included in the final notice.

Please do not send passports, banking details or sensitive personal information through the form. The site is intended for corporate enquiries and is not directed to children.

3. Service providers and international transfers

The planned services are Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare for DNS and form security, Resend for form email delivery, and Google Workspace for receiving and handling correspondence.

There is no separate website enquiry database. Messages may nevertheless be processed and retained by delivery providers and in Altoro’s mailbox. These arrangements may involve processing outside Tanzania.

Before activation, Altoro must confirm the relevant recipients, countries, provider agreements, safeguards and required transfer permissions. The final notice will describe those confirmed arrangements. Your information will not be sold or used for advertising.

4. How long information is kept

Information should be retained only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. A documented retention schedule covering enquiries, correspondence, provider records, backups and security logs must be established before launch.

No fixed enquiry retention period has yet been adopted. Information that is no longer necessary will be deleted or anonymised under the approved process.

5. Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, erasure or restriction, and object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Requests will be handled through the applicable Tanzanian procedures and deadlines.

Contact info@altoromining.com for assistance. You may also raise a complaint with Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Commission.

6. Cookies and security

No analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies are planned for launch. Fonts and images are served with the website. No optional tracking will be enabled without a fresh privacy review.

Cloudflare Turnstile is planned for form protection, without optional pre-clearance. Its final configuration and any cookies or similar technologies will be checked and described before activation, including consent controls where required.

Planned safeguards include encrypted connections, restricted account access, server-side input checks and spam protection. No internet service can promise absolute security.

7. Notice updates

A publication date will be added to the final notice. Material changes, including the addition of analytics, will be reflected here before the relevant processing starts.
